Shiatsu and More turns 3! - Online Workshop
Dear Friends!
On October 27, 2003 at 16:56 Shiatsu and More is "gone online"!
are three years that we are "on track" and this forum has a quite large! Users are not numerous, but perhaps it's my fault that I have not advertised enough. In any case, was and is an important experience. The forum provided an opportunity for me and others to publish and share what we think, what we have studied, what we are experiencing.
E 'at this point I would make a difference! This post is the proposal to organize and participate in the first Italian Shiatsu Workshop. It is not a new formula: in fact at this very moment you are holding a Seminar Online shiatsucentre.net up with Pauline Sasaki.
Unlike all other seminars, online and off, I would like to organize an event with the characteristics of Shiatsu and More: a workshop by students and for students!
would be open to all students of shiatsu, of all schools of all levels, where everyone can have their say or ask or to share experiences and knowledge.
All this provided they are enrolled in the forum (I remember that it's free!)
The duration of the workshop would be at least 5 days, Monday to Friday evening.
I have some ideas about the topic and there 3 to propose the following:
- Mu areas: assessment, treatment or both?
- tune with the recipient, compassion and take responsibility for suffering: what limit?
- Intention: The purpose, technical and dynamic
What do you like? Would like to actively participate in? and more importantly would like to invite friends shiatsu practitioners of all levels to participate?

Let's say it frankly. .. I am a passionate about online courses, but in this case I have to say that it is quite instructive.
NCCAM - National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine
NCCAM is the agency of reference of the U.S. federal government for scientific research on complementary and alternative medicine.
site http://nccam.nih.gov/ is excellent and has a lot of useful information, including clinical trials.
Also in the training are the Video Lectures http://nccam.nih.gov/videolectures/
are streaming the conference of which you can download the transcripts and slides swows presented. For each of these you can perform a test (10/15 multiple choice questions) after which they are awarded a Certificate of nominal participation (pdf).
Apart from the certificate, the contents are interesting realm. In some cases, are too limited to subjects more popular in the U.S. (eg. Hypnosis, acupuncture, chiropractic) but all the "boundary" is definitely valid, then it is FREE!
Ah ... of course it is all in English, most speakers will understand perfectly, but a few words shoot in bursts and is a little difficult to follow the conference although there are subtitles.

Christian Hindi Wedding
now it's official
I'll do the Instructor Course. On the one hand I am very happy, but on the other are worried. It is not the first time that "instruct" in my life (not Shiatsu course) and I must say that when I did my students were happy, or better, so I'm told! But I'm worried. I've always been afraid of the instructors, I have always regarded with respect but without complacency, and as often as I did, I paid dearly! Rarely have I found a truly enlightened teacher, I often find people who once had the Pacaccio began to teach but have stopped learning because both knew everything! And more often I have passed on their weaknesses, with their knowledge. I know, I know, I've already written somewhere, and maybe I used the same words ... but this thing worries me ... It is not a question of technique, it is an issue of Heart and Mind and Spirit, to keep them open and light, to be humble (and for me this is a mess!) And to realize and accept that you are mistaken or not is the height ...
But I would like very much live up to ...
